New eparchy erected in North America

The most recent major eparchy erected in North America by the Vatican is the St. Mary, Queen of Peace Syro-Malankara Catholic Eparchy, serving the United States and Canada. Pope Francis elevated the former Exarchate to an Eparchy, creating a unified administrative diocese for these faithful across North America.
